For that reason, a RidgeCo plaque is not created as a standard sign with a name added afterward.

Each Kildare plaque is individually prepared around your address. House numbers, street names, additional text, proportions, dimensions, and color combinations can be adapted to create a composition that belongs naturally to the property it represents.

The design is personalized before it is cast.

Cast in Solid Aluminum

Kildare is made from solid aluminum using a traditional sand-casting process.

The process begins with the design and the creation of a precision pattern. A sand mold is then formed, and molten aluminum is poured into it to create the plaque as a single solid casting.

Once cooled, each piece is individually refined by hand. The surface is sanded and finished before receiving its final enamel coating.

The raised numbers, lettering, borders, and decorative elements are part of the casting itself — not printed, applied as decals, or attached separately.

This gives the plaque genuine depth, weight, and permanence.

The Character of Handmade Work

Luxury is not always perfection.

Unlike mass-produced signs, cast aluminum retains subtle traces of its making. Small variations in surface texture and hand finishing give each plaque an individual character.
